Ingredients

  • 7 oz chicken breast
  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar Pompeian or other brand w/o sugar or grape must
  • 14.5 oz Muir Glen fire roasted tomatoes
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • pink salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • Heat 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar in skillet
  • Add chicken
  • Cook 1 minute on each side, coating chicken in vinegar
  • Cover chicken with can of tomatoes and stir in remaining vinegar
  • Add spices
  • Cover and simmer for about 10 minutes or when sauce is desired consistency
