Ingredients
- 3 eggs separated
- 3 tbsp softened cream cheese or plain greek yogurt/whole milk/coconut cream/cottage cheese
- 1/4 tsp cream of tartar
- 2-3 drops liquid Stevia
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 300 degrees
- Line cookie sheet with parchment paper and spray
- Separate eggs
- In small bowl, mix together egg yolks, cream cheese (or yogurt/milk/coconut cream/cottage cheese) and stevia until smooth
- In another bowl, add cream of tartar to the egg whites
- Beat whites on high speed until fluffy and form very stiff peaks
- Fold egg yolk mixture into egg whites carefully until thoroughly mixed
- Scoop the mixture into 10 even rounds onto cookie sheet
- Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown
- Remove from cookie sheets and cool on a rack/cutting board
- Store in a plastic baggie or container for a softer bread texture that is chewy
*Can be made into 6 rounds instead for larger slices at 50 calories/slice
