  • 4 bananas mashed
  • 1/2 cup flax meal
  • 1/2 cup coconut flour
  • 1/4 cup almond butter
  • 2/3 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil
  • Stevia, to taste


  • Line baking sheets with parchment paper
  • Melt coconut oil
  • Mix in cocoa powder and stevia
  • Pour into square or rectangular tupperware container then place into freezer
  • Combine bananas, flax meal, coconut flour, almond butter, applesauce, vanilla, and stevia (if desired) in food processor until mixed together
  • Remove coconut oil chocolate from freezer and pop out of tupperware onto sheet of saran wrap or foil
  • Wrap chocolate in saran wrap or foil then break into small pieces with fingers or crush with spoon
  • Stir chocolate piece into cookie dough
  • Chill dough in refrigerator for 30 minutes
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Spoon out scoops of 1 tablespoon dough (yields 3 dozen)
  • Bake for 15 minutes
