Ingredients
- 1.5 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1.5 cup almond flour
- 1/4 cup garbanzo bean (chickpea) flour
- 1/4 cup flax meal
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp pink salt
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/2 cup water
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Shred cheese - or pulse it in a food processor until it becomes granular
- In large bowl, combine mozzarella, almonds, garbanzo bean flour, flax meal, onion powder, garlic powder, and pink salt
- Spread a sheet of parchment paper over a baking sheet/pizza stone (If using a baking pan, it's easier to use the back of the pan)
- Place dough on parchment paper and lay a second sheet of parchment paper on top of dough
- Flatten with a rolling pin into a 14" round
- Carefully remove top layer of parchment paper
- Use a spoon or hands to form a crust edge
- Bake for 20 minutes
- Remove from oven and top with sauce and pizza toppings
- Bake for an additional 10 minutes or until cheese is melted
