Banana Bread Protein Bars

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 2 small bananas
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp egg whites or 1 egg white
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp almond extract
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 8 tbsp vanilla hemp protein powder or other protein powder of choice, unsweetened or sweetened with Stevia
  • 1/4 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Mix bananas, wet ingredients, and spices in food processor
  • Mix the protein and the almond flour
  • Mix in the pecans and raisins
  • Grease 8 x 8 baking dish and pour batter into it
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes
