  • 2 cup spinach fresh or frozen
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup fresh shredded mozzarella cheese
  • pink salt and pepper, to taste
  • additional spices optional


  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees
  • Line pizza pan with parchment paper
  • If using frozen spinach: defrost then place in tea towel or cheese cloth and wring out as much water as possible
  • In blender or food processor blend spinach until it is well pureed
  • Add egg and pulse until combined
  • Add cheese, salt, pepper, and other spices and pulse until just combined
  • Spread evenly on prepared pizza pan
  • Bake for 15 minutes or until edges are browned and crispy
  • Flip crust and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes
  • (After baking crust, top with sauce, cheese and choice of toppings then return to oven to bake until cheese is melted)
