Ingredients
- 2 cup spinach fresh or frozen
- 1 egg
- 1 cup fresh shredded mozzarella cheese
- pink salt and pepper, to taste
- additional spices optional
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees
- Line pizza pan with parchment paper
- If using frozen spinach: defrost then place in tea towel or cheese cloth and wring out as much water as possible
- In blender or food processor blend spinach until it is well pureed
- Add egg and pulse until combined
- Add cheese, salt, pepper, and other spices and pulse until just combined
- Spread evenly on prepared pizza pan
- Bake for 15 minutes or until edges are browned and crispy
- Flip crust and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes
- (After baking crust, top with sauce, cheese and choice of toppings then return to oven to bake until cheese is melted)
