  • 3.5 oz shrimp or scalops
  • 6 cloves garlic crushed
  • 24 oz whole peeled tomatoes with liquid chopped
  • 1.5 tbsp salt
  • 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley


  • Sauté garlic over medium heat in a nonstick skillet
  • When garlic starts to sizzle, pour in tomatoes
  • Season with salt and red pepper
  • Bring to a boil
  • Lower heat and simmer for 30 mins, stirring occasionally
  • Cook shrimp (or scallops) in nonstick pan for 2 minutes, stirring frequently, or until shrimp turn pink
  • Add shrimp to tomato mixture and stir in parsley
  • Cook for 3-4 minutes or until the sauce just begins to bubble
  • Serve
