Ingredients
- 1/2 cup coconut flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1 cup water
- 2 tbsp flax meal
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp coconut oil melted
- 6 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 tsp pink salt
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 3 tbsp FiberYum IMO Syrup
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Line an 8 inch round cake pan with parchment paper
- Whisk applesauce, water, vanilla, coconut oil, and IMO syrup together in bowl
- In separate bowl, stir together coconut flour, flax meal, cocoa powder, pink salt, and baking soda
- Pour dry ingredients into wet and stir well
- Pour batter into cake pan and smooth evenly with spatula
- Bake for 16 minutes (Batter will still look very underdone)
- Let cool then transfer to refrigerator until firm
- Slice into 8 even triangles
