  • Add water and sliced apple
  • Cover and cook for 1 minute

  • Cover and cook until liquid is reduced by half and apple slices are tender
  • Uncover and continue cooking, stirring occasionally, until liquid is almost gone
  • Transfer sliced apple to a bowl or plate
  • Pour remaining liquid over top as a syrup
