Instructions
Heat crockpot to low
Chop and core apples then place into crockpot
Add spices and water to apples and cover with lid
Cook for 6 hours
Transfer apples to blender/food processor (or use an immersion blender) to puree
Transfer back to crockpot
Loosely cover with lid, allowing steam to escape, and cook 6-8 more hours (or until mixture is reduced by nearly half)
Transfer to glass jar(s) and store in refrigerator for up to 2 weeks
Note: You may use 3 servings (6T) if you want to count this as your fruit in P2 or you may use 1 serving (2T) along with ½ of an apple cut into slices
